Donald Trump Rode an Escalator to 2016 Presidential Announcement

Donald Trump’s road to the White Home started on an escalator.

Though other presidential candidates choose a splashier get started to their presidential bids, The Donald proved after again on Tuesday that he does points his way.

As Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Totally free Planet” played in the lobby of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York City, the actual estate and reality television mogul descended an escalator to his own presidential announcement.

I like how Donald Trump takes an escalator to the podium. Very classy. #PresidentTrump pic.twitter.com/EKD2AoYWp6

“Sadly the American dream is dead,” Trump declared these days. “But if I get elected president I will bring it back, bigger, and superior, and stronger than ever before.”

Trump’s pre-speech soundtrack integrated selections from Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, “Phantom of the Opera” and other Broadway musicals.
