‘Real Housewives’ Star Pleads Not Guilty to Resisting Arrest

“True Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member Kim Richards has pleaded not guilty to three misdemeanor charges filed soon after authorities say she was kicked out of a posh restaurant for becoming drunk.

An lawyer entered the plea on Richards’ behalf throughout a hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Richards was charged in May with resisting arrest, battery on a peace officer and public intoxication immediately after she was removed from The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel the prior month.

The 50-year-old reality star is accused of kicking an officer whilst at a police station.

District attorney’s spokesman Ricardo Santiago says Richards was ordered to keep away from the hotel at Thursday’s hearing.

She faces up to two years and six months in jail if convicted as charged.
